Hi! My name is Julie I'm a Montrealer that grew up in the Pyrénées. I've been travelling the globe for years and lived in Vietnam, USA and Canada. One thing stayed consistent; I always have a pair of my hometown Espadrilles in my suitacase!

Espadrilles, also known as Alpargatas, are ancient Pyrenean sandals made
from hemp and canvas. At Maru, we add a touch of modernity to this traditional
item by working with local artists to create unique designs. Designed in
Montreal and traditionally handcrafted in a small workshop in the south of
France, they combine artisanal know-how and contemporary aesthetics.

Boutique Maru is located in Tio'tia:ke (Montreal), unceded land of the Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawks) nation.

• For half sizes, it is recommended to go down a size.
• The fit should be snug during the first wear. The linen will adapt to your feet after a few uses.
